Godiva Lions Public School is helping the poor and needy children in getting basic education. Mr . Fred and wife Joyce from Lions Club of Solihull, U. K. District 105M are sponsoring for the education and keep of these orphans.

These sisters,of which the two were mentally retarded too were given a newly built house with modern facilities

The eldest of the sisters has got married by now and she also looks after her sisters and they live happily

Mr.David Simpson and Miss.Anna Younger came to visit India and stayed in the school with the Principal for three weeks and when they left for Kolkata they were well taught and well learned "Punjabis".This can be verified from their compliments in the visit book in the school which contain Thier punjabi Signatures in the end.They got Indian names "Dev" and "Annu" ,out of love ,from the Nurpur family.

Godiva Lions Public School also
provides computer education to students. They
learn to create drawings on computers, play games or even surf the internet.
We have plans for buying multimedia based
educational softwares that will
help the students a lot.
Unfortunately not able to walk with crutches Gurpreet was donated a stand by her teacher with which she walks efficiently.
